Plumas Rural Services is a community based, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life by promoting the health, education, and well being of local residents and families.
Process:
The Board of Directors of Plumas Rural Services (PRS) engaged in an extensive three-year strategic planning process beginning with an in depth Board self-assessment. Each agency program performed self-assessments and developed program long-range plans. Three Board planning sessions focused on 1) review of the program self-assessments and program long range plans, 2) Board self-assessment, identification of priority planning areas and 3) development of the following three year strategic plan.
